So formally last week Turkey has finally entered a TANAP deal – (animaweb . org/en/actu-detail.php?actu=24875). But for me personally the project's perspectives o whole still seem to be foggy enough. Azerbaijan undoubtedly seeks its own good – they sell gas and additionally attract serious investments into the country's economy. Not bad. The question is: do Turkey and all other TANAP investors indeed see their fruits?? All other this world, ministries of finances and foreign offices fundamentally and strongly recommend their businessmen to avoid their holding shares in risky Azerbaijani economics. And the risks are sky-high indeed: there are Americans who keep on adding certain fuel into Azerbaijani-Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh conflict; there are Azerbaijani territorial disputes with Iran other the so called 'Southern' Azerbaijan; there is finally a conflict with Turkmenistan over disputable Caspian gas and oil fields.... Tomorrow each of abovementioned conflict may turn into a war! On this planet Azerbaijan now is undoubtedly the most risky enterprise...
