There is a new trend in Uzbekistan: Uzbek government names Islamist militants all Karimov’s regime opponents. This rhetoric, of course, is widely supported by the USA. I call this ‘quid pro quo’ : Uzbekistan allows the USA to use its airports for military objectives, the USA, in its turn, support entirely repressive politic of president Karimov.
