Governments of the EU and the USA are neglecting human rights violations in Uzbekistan because Tashkent allows to use Uzbekistan as an alternative rout for NATO troops supplies. There are hundreds and even thousands of evidences of Uzbek people tortures and humiliations by local authorities! It’s time to stop using double standards and start to apply the metewand of democracy not only to ‘bad’ countries and regimes but to all the countries in the world!
